Narrative design & worldbuilding
Many games succeed on a gameplay or technical level, but lack an engaging narrative to distinguish themselves from others. Vice versa, quite a few games are rather mediocre when it comes to gameplay, but are critical and commercial successes based on their story and how they weave it into the game. Even games that feature very little linear storytelling (Alpha Centauri, Into the Breach,…) benefit from increased attention to narrative.
I have experience writing scenario for LARP and miniature games and would like to flex my creative muscles in digital games. So whether you need broad scenario strokes, fluffy item descriptions or a bible describing the background and appearance of different factions, I’m your man.
Model making & rental
If you want to learn how to make and paint miniatures and diorama’s yourself, check out my workshop page.
I’m also interested in renting out my creations or making backdrops for film projects or game events. Reach out if you’re interested.
Event organization
If you’re looking for event support on a freelance basis, I can help out with with practical planning and coordination, as well as hosting and decor.
I have experience organizing events at universities, art colleges, LARP-events and other events centered around playing and creating together (Kamping Kitbash).
Guest speaking
I have given talks on worldbuilding and the history of fantasy and science fiction illustration at art colleges (LUCA) and conventions (Day of Dungeons).
